Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Adat mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Adat is an offline-first Islamic habit tracking application that helps users build consistent daily habits, track streaks, view daily quotes, and participate in group accountability features. The Service is provided by the Adat team ("we", "us", "our").

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. User Accounts

An account is optional for core functionality. If you create an account to use group features:

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate information during registration.
  • You must not share your account with others.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to access other users' data without authorization.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Submit false or misleading information.
  • Use automated means to interact with the Service unless authorized.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

All content included in the Service — including text, graphics, logos, icons, quotes, and software — is the property of the Adat team or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Adat team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted within the app or on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
